From the mailbag

In the coming weeks, I'll be sharing sone of the weaves that are ... ahem ... clogging my inbox. Like this one, spotted months ago in front of Lola, on 14th Street downtown, by Alert Reader and colleague Jackie.

Ratty mess on Delmar

Alert Reader Evan spotted this lovely specimen — "a weave and a rat tail, all in one" — on Delmar just west of 14th Street.

A weave in a haystack

They're tough to spot, but Alert Reader Evan has a good eye. He found this mess at 14th Street and Delmar downtown.

Amid the dirty snow, a dirty weave

It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Spotted at Washington Avenue and 14th Street.

The weaves on the bus

I spotted this lovely hairpiece (it could double nicely as a mustache, no?) last month, a little before Christmas, in the MetroBus stop at Washington Avenue and 14th Street.

Purple weave, purple weave

After a while, regular hair-colored weaves get a little boring. That's why it's a nice diversion when someone loses a weave of a different color.

Alert Reader Evan (whose frequent-customer card is in the mail as we speak) spotted this lovely purple weave at 14th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Drive on Tuesday morning.

Don't be greedy. Share your weave sight-'ems with me.

Weed 'n' weave

Alert weave hunter Evan shares this from his morning walk to the office:

Found at 14th Street and Delmar Boulevard downtown. Thanks, Evan!

You can share your finds with me, too.
