Spotted by Alert Reader Ken at the Peace Bridge border crossing in Buffalo, NY. This hair either drifted onto the barbed wire on its own or got snagged while someone tried to escape to Canada.
The streets of St. Louis are practically crawling with discarded bits of hair: all manner of weaves, extensions, braids and wigs. We're not sure who they once belonged to. We're not sure how they became separated from their owners. But we document them here.

I actually was there on July 4th, and can say that a year after snapping that photo, the weave is still there.
